Hi, I'm new.
So, I was browsing through the Livejournal communities and stumbled along here, I'm not a wannabe vegetarian, I am a vegetarian. I'm 20 yrs old and haven't eaten meat in 4 years. I figured that if anyone had any questions, I would be more than happy to do my best to answer them. I've contimplated going vegan, but I think that's just a bit too extreme, at least for me. So yeah. Any questions, and I'll be happy to answer them.

Yeah, I've been wondering... Are fake meats any good? What about veggie burgers? I want to try them out but don't want to waste money without some opinions on them first. :)

OH MY GOODNESS! I love most fake meat. if you can find Schneiders(sp?) Au Naturel, line of vegetarian food. It almost tastes just like the real stuff. and also if you live in Central Ontario around the GTA if you can find a Lick's restaurant. AMAZING! They have the best Nature(veggie) Burgers around.
I think the only sort of fake meats I don't really like are like the deli slices, I'll eat them on occasion, buuut, not that great, same with the hotdogs. But I know other people who like them, so I guess it all depends on the person.
Veggie Burgers in particular are good as long as they don't get burnt because they dry out quicker I suppose.
