Hey. Im new here and Ive recently gone vegetarian. It's been two weeks and a day since my last piece of meat and I'm feeling great. I have had issues with my eating before. I have been anorexic and I feel that becoming vegetarian would be a way for me to control my controlling ways towards foods, if that makes any sense. The only problem is the negative response I seem to be getting from my friends. They really dont seem to understand. I can see there point since I live on a cattle ranch but i wish they would respect and support my decision. I think its better for me and I wish they'd understand.

Most of my friends are okay with it, but some of them are like, "Omg, you can't be vegetarian because of this and that." Anyone can be a veggie. >.< Anyways, that was sort of off topic. ~_^

Just try to make a point by sticking to this, and showing all those people that you're being serious. I'm a veggie because I want to think more about what I eat, and why I eat this and that, and other such things... Try to make a list of reasons as to why you're a vegetarian, and whenever someone asks give them one or two until they finally accept your new life style. :) Good luck!
